Oliver McDonald
This fine art illustrator likes to work with the familiar, the world that is known to him. He creates strong imagery and uses collage, drawing and juxtaposition to create his digital works. Following his degree in illustration he went on to study an MA in Animation and Sound. He often incorporates text and records fragments of people’s conversations and remarks in his work. He places the wrong emphasis on words in sentences to conjure up alternative meanings and surprising imagery. For example, “She is hairy and fine – yes?”
