Stephen Brockerton
A photographer who creates vibrant, stylish imagery Stephen engages the viewer in a world of alternate perspectives and analytical viewpoints which look at the world in a different light and timeframe. With an investigative mind and a love of exploring elusive places and spaces, he likes to capture them in an intriguing way we don’t often get to see. His work features the urban landscape, city architecture, landmark buildings and city parks. Stephen’s understanding of an engaging, commercial aesthetic has shaped his style. He has a growing list of corporate clients, commissioners and long term exhibitions. For a Visual commission Stephen created artwork for the Birmingham offices of Catalyst Corporate Finance, including a largescale image of the city skyline in grey scale. The six commissioned images are located in the main reception and client meeting rooms. Stephen has also exhibited, loaned and sold work to Ernst & Young. His work was also purchased by Anglo Irish Investment Bank when Visual assisted them in developing a corporate art collection of contemporary photography.
