Mass Grave is a painting which explores the mass killings and acts of genocide which occurred during the Second World War, through to the more recent events in Rwanda and Cambodia. The work does not seek to be gratuitous or exploitative, simply presenting the viewer with an open ditch, creating an oblique but immediate depiction of the atrocities.
