— Ellipse & Petal Bangles by Miranda Sharpe
These bangles are designed to be bold, they are solid in appearance but the coloured resin also gives them an air of delicacy and makes them much lighter than is expected. A layer of lace is trapped inside the resin showing its delicate pattern as light reflects upon it. The design is drawn from natural forms, abstracting and simplifying shapes, the lace inside adds extra depth to the pieces and echoes cells and structures found within these forms.
