How do I ask for advice or discuss my particular requirements?
We are always happy to talk and help our clients find just the right artwork, or artworks, for their home or office. You can call us on 0844 335 1305 between 09:30 and 17:30 Monday to Friday. Alternatively, you can contact us here and we will call you back as soon as we can.
How do I place an order with Visual?
You can submit your order by telephone on 0844 335 1305 or via email on visual@artsandbusiness.org.uk. Our office is open 09:30 to 17:30, Monday to Friday. We will always confirm your order in writing, usually via email.
How can I pay?
When we confirm your order we will send you an invoice. You can pay this invoice via cheque or by direct transfer to our bank account. Full details on how to do this will be included on the invoice. If you are a private buyer (i.e. you are not buying for a business) you may be able to pay for your purchase with an interest free Own Art loan. Once you have paid for the work we can arrange delivery.
What about VAT?
The prices shown on the website and in the printed catalogue exclude VAT (Value Added Tax). We will add VAT (currently 17.5%) to all orders. If your purchase is being exported from the EU (European Union) then your order will not be charged VAT.
How much does delivery cost?
The cost of delivery will vary depending on the size, weight and quantity of the artwork you have ordered and whether it requires special packaging. Typically, a single artwork is likely to cost between £5 and £15 to deliver within the UK. We will discuss this with you when you place your order and confirm the cost in our invoice. We can also quote for hanging your artwork and recommend that you take this option if you are purchasing several artworks or a large collection for your office.
How soon can I expect delivery?
Delivery time will vary depending on the work you have ordered. We normally aim to deliver work within 10 to 12 working days. If delivery is likely to take longer than 12 working days we will discuss this with you at the time you place your order. Delivery may take longer if you are ordering an artwork that needs to be made specially or requires framing.
Do you deliver outside the UK?
We can't guarantee to accept orders requiring delivery outside the United Kingdom. However, please contact us and we will endeavour to supply you.
Is my order insured?
Your artwork is insured against loss or damage up to the point of delivery. Title and risk in all artwork will pass to you once the artwork has been delivered. If we are hanging the artwork for you then it is insured against damage until it is fixed to the wall.
Can I cancel my order?
In accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations you have a period of seven days from the date that you submit your order to cancel. To do this you must email us, within seven days, at visual@artsandbusiness.org.uk quoting "Order Cancellation" in the subject heading. If by this time we have already despatched or delivered your order, you must return it to us in mint condition before we can arrange your refund.
What is your returns policy?
If your order arrives damaged or of a quality or specification reasonably less than that represented on the website then you can return the work to us within 14 days, either for a replacement (if available) or a full refund. To do this, please follow this procedure:
- email visual@artsandbusiness.org.uk requesting a Returns Form;
- complete the Returns Form, including details of the reasons for the return, and email it back to us at visual@artsandbusiness.org.uk;
- in response we will provide full written details of where you should deliver the returned artwork;
- on receipt of the returned artwork we aim to either replace the artwork (if requested and if possible) or provide a full refund, including the reasonable costs you incurred in retuning the artwork to us.
Please note that undamaged artwork or artwork of satisfactory quality is non-returnable under our Returns Policy.
Is the Website always up-to-date?
We strive to keep the Website up-to-date and remove items, or mark as sold, any artworks as soon as possible after they are sold. All information on the Website is presented in good faith and all artwork is offered for sale subject to availability.
