— Applying for an Own Art loan from us by phone
If you wish to apply for an Own Art loan (£100 to £2,000) to buy art from us via the Internet / Mail Order please first check that you are eligible to apply and then call us on 0844 335 1305. We will do our best to make the process as quick and as straightforward as possible.
1. When you call we will ask you some questions so that we can complete the application form. It should take no more than 10 minutes. Please note that the application for consumer credit is subject to acceptance by and at the discretion of Hitachi Capital Consumer Finance (HCCF). All the information we ask for is relevant to HCCF's authorisation process. It must be accurate and complete.
2. We will call HCCF to seek authorisation for your loan. It is not our decision whether you are offered interest free credit under the Scheme, but a decision of HCCF. Their decision is final.
3. If your application is approved by HCCF we will send you the agreement for you to check, sign and date. Our covering letter will explain what you need to do and tell you about your right to cancel the agreement within 14 days should you change your mind after signing.
4. The relevant copies of the signed and dated agreement should be returned to us. We will arrange delivery of your artwork(s) after the 14 day period is over.
