art + industry =

Arts Council England and University of the Arts London are running a day of discussion and collaboration between leading representatives from the arts, industry and research, exploring the conditions necessary for creativity and innovation in a range of contexts.

The objective of the event is to take stock of what we know about the value of exchange between art and industry and to determine how we can work together to maximise opportunities to drive UK innovation.

Phil Stenton from HP Labs, Dick Penny from Watershed Media Centre, Dr Jill Scott from Arts in Labs (Zurich) and artists Hazel Grian, Chris Dorley-Brown and Tony White are among those discussing how artists interactions with industry can contribute to 'disruptive innovation'.

The event is FREE, however, places are strictly limited and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.  You can download the full programe and register here.
