An image created by Visual artist Chris Keenan has been selected for the prestigious The Art of Photography Show in San Diego.

The Art of Photography is a world-class international exhibition featuring all forms of photographic art.  This year they received 15,000 entries from 57 countries.  111 images were chosen for the final exhibition and Chris' Franz Joseph Glacier was one of them. The selection was made by Charlotte Cotton, curator and head of the Wallis Annenberg Department of Photography at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA).

Gavin Buckley, Head of Visual, commented, "I'm delighted that Chris has been selected to show his work at this prestigious exhibition. His Franz Joseph Glacier image is a remarkable and beautiful work of art which will, I'm sure, stand out as one of the finest in the show."

Chris Keenan's Franz Joseph Glacier is available to buy on Visual and may been seen in the United Kingdom at the forthcoming public exhibition: Visual at Baskerville House 2009, Birmingham: open daily 11.30am - 6.00pm, 30 June - 12 July 2009. Free admission.
